Welcome to the website of the Thomond Archaeological and Historical Society. Our Society has about 400 members, interested in learning about, appreciating and promoting the heritage of North Munster, the area of Clare, Limerick and North Tipperary.
While most live in the region, we also have many members elsewhere in Ireland, and in Britain and the United States, who share our interest and commitment. The Society also has a large institutional membership, supporting our aims and subscribing to our academic journal, the North Munster Antiquarian Journal.
